Skylane
Skylanes are a series of elevated walkways that extend all over the city, mainly on SW Island, that were once territorial walls from the past.
The Skylane Foundation, a sub-department or team of the Department of Transportation, is responsible for the restoration and maintenance of the skylane network.
Over the years, skylanes have fallen into disuse; many sections being torn down to make room for new developments. The James River skylane is one district where the skylane remains in high use today; mostly due to the scenic routes that the lane was built such as crossing in front of popular tourist attraction James River Falls.

PSL map
The Perimeter Skylane (also referred to as the PSL for short), is a rectangular skylane platform that extends completely around SW Island in a large rectangular platform. In each ultimate corner sits a massive transfer station. These transfer stations are largely isolated due to the city not having expanded out far enough to reach the stations yet.
